I've loved all the Cindy Eller books until the last two. Book 8 was depressing. This one kept talking about being fulfilled having a baby & reading about having to feed the baby every chapter was annoying. It's not even explained where the baby came from & according to the book it won't ever be. I guess the author didn't have any idea how to explain it. I think writing is a great talent & I hate doing bad reviews but this author lost a fan.Product details

How Not to Soothe a Siren Cindy Eller Book 9 eBook Elizabeth A Reeves Reviews
This was a exciting adventurous and imaginative story.
Love the stories. They need to be edited much better. Each book I read, I am tempted to offer the be a beta reader and help with editing.
Each story gets better and better...involving more and more new characters...yet getting more and more of original characters into the story..
I have loved all the Cindy Eller books, this one is another fabulous quick read for a quiet day at home. Despite several typos, this story keeps you going and adds new characters to the growing cast of Farie. Looking forward to our next "bundle of joy" in the series.
Great read.
Very hard to read with all the errors. Ending felt rushed to wrap up. Not her best effort in an otherwise fun and engaging series. If you can get through your library, do so. Very disappointed in quality vs price. I would have waited longer to have the errors cleaned up and a smoother ending.
"How (Not) to Soothe a Siren" by Elizabeth A. Reeves is the latest novel in the Cindy Eller series. The story starts out where the previous novel left off. Cindy and Timothy are now parents to a new born. There is a brief adjustment period for them before a new crisis catches their attention in the form of a waking dream. With no choice other than to investigate, they head off into the unknown with only the will of Faerie to guide them. Well, at least until they meet the Huntsman. Overall, I enjoyed this novel a lot more than some of the more recent ones. It had a good blend of Cindy's introspective monologue with plot points that kept the story moving forward.
